Mr Colin Dibble MBChB(Hons) DipIMC RCSEd
FRCSEd(A&E) FCEM
I qualified from University of Zimbabwe (where I am from originally) in 1994. I spent 2 years post qualification in the central teaching hospitals before going out into the Zimbabwe rural areas where I worked for 4 years doing everything (as the only doctor); a tremendous, though at times scary, experience.
I came to UK in 2000 and since then I have completed all my basic and specialist training in the North West region.
I am currently an Emergency Medicine Consultant at North Manchester General Hospital, part of the largest Trust in the country, the Pennine Acute NHS Trust. I am also the departmental lead for Education, and the Trust ACCS Track Lead. I also have an interest in Prehospital care and anaesthetics. I am currently the Chairman of Greater Manchester TARN.
